SANDBLASTING, NUTS & BOLTS
Our garage has a very nice sandblasting cabinet. Restoration is impossible without that equipment. This is 1963 Lincoln Continental radiator ventilator during a sandblasting process. After sandblasting is finished, vent will be covered with thin coat of washprimer, and polyurethane black color.
In a video below is shown how we prepare Nuts & bolts for galvanising process. After sand blasting, we brush every single bolt on a electric bench grinder, using iron wire brush... (800W grinder and more is needed).
